WEEK OF ITALIAN CUISINE IN THE WORLD

From 21 to 27 November kicks off the first week of Italian Cuisine in the World, an event intended to promote and defend the value of Made in Italy agro-food abroad.

The initiative was presented at Villa Madama on 26 October, the Ministers of Martina presence and Gentiloni and many other personalities.

The program includes 1300 events in 105 countries around the world. Over 170 conferences, meetings with the chefs and the debates on the Italian culinary tradition. To these are added 150 show cooking and master classes and hundreds of promotional events in collaboration with local Italian restaurants and major trade fairs.

To discover the most authentic Italian flavors and quality is ample space with more than 300 events, without forgetting competitions, award ceremonies, seminars, screenings, theater performances and exhibitions where design, art and photography make them the theme of the kitchen translating it into original creative forms. 

Several objectives:

among the main to raise awareness and give visibility to agricultural food production and Italian wine, and in particular to certified quality products.

The event is a new occasion to point out – as part of the Italian kitchen – Italian know-how and to continue spreading the unique values of the Mediterranean Diet. A moment to be exploited to present the offer of quality Italian restaurants and to promote the routes of taste in Italy.

We tie the great theme of the kitchen to employment of our producers, a distinctive feature – emphasizes the Minister Martina – making it the only Italian model in the world. Because when we tell a plate, also we tell the story of those who carried it, of an area, the quality of raw materials.

The words of the Minister Martina is fully offset in values expressed by the Italian Palate, gourmet club where unique experiences meet Italian flavors of excellence. It also confirms its chef Filippo Sinisgalli, member of the board of Euro-Toques Italy and present on 26 October.

The meticulous evaluations that the company makes every manufacturer goes through the direct knowledge and lead to the selection of products only when they have been put to the test in the chef’s kitchen. Passed the test, the excellence selected are shared with customers becoming part of the daily menu of Italian Palate. From that moment every product is used and promoted in the various activities and initiatives, both in Italy but especially abroad, where it is increasingly growing passion for Italian food quality and agri-food culture.
